This work emerged from an experiment with watercolor, exploring the balance between deliberate
control and unpredictable flow. The artist worked simultaneously on multiple sheets, testing
different color combinations and flow patterns, and ultimately selected the version that
produced the most visually compelling result.
“Waterspout” is not simply a product of chance; it arises at the intersection of intention and
serendipity. In its reduced, abstract form, the work captures the tension between controlled
design and the spontaneous emergence of visual forms, revealing the delicate dialogue between
planning and accident.
